Larry Smart, PT, is our director of Rehab Management's premier facility in Rockwall. He is an Arkansas native who has been in practice since 1981. He holds two degrees: a BSE in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Southern Arkansas University, and his BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas.
His continuing education includes studies in the McKenzie approach to neck and back care, as well as shoulder and knee rehabilitation. Larry's professional experience includes in- and out-patient orthopedics, sports therapy, and home health PT.
Ashley Landrum, PT, graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2006. She then attended Texas Woman's University and received a master's in Physical Therapy in July 2008. At this time, she is working on her doctorate degree from TWU.
Brett Gibbons, PT, DPT, graduated from Texas Woman's University with his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Previously, Brett graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Woman's University with a BS in Psychology. Currently, Brett is working toward earning his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) accreditation and furthering his manual therapy skills through the NAIOMPT program.
Brett utilizes a multimodal, evidence based approach to patient care focusing on NAIOMPT manual therapy techniques, Mulligan techniques, and progressive therapeutic exercise. Brett has a wide PT scope with experience ranging from adolescents to seniors.
Amanda Nightingale PT, DPT graduated from Texas Woman's University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Amanda attended Eastern New Mexico University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. While obtaining her undergraduate degree Amanda played four years of collegiate softball.
Amanda uses a multifaceted approach to patient care with a focus on manual therapy techniques and progressive therapeutic exercises treating a wide variety of patient populations and ages. She enjoys working with athletes and developing return to sport programs and interventions.
Bryan Kelley, PTA, has 10 years of outpatient clinical experience. He graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Collin County Community College in 2000. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of North Texas.
Bryan has worked with many of the local high school's athletes and enjoys using an integrated approach of manual therapy, exercises and modalities to provide top quality care for patients.
Edward Aguilar, PTA, graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute in Tucson Arizona. Edward is finishing up his B.S in Psychology from Chadron State College while practicing as a PTA. He is currently enrolled in the Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy program. He likes to use a manual therapy and therapeutic exercise approach to achieve positive patient prognosis. He has experience in outpatient, neuro, acute, and home healthcare. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and an active PTA and patient advocate.
